APRIL IS... Lots of things... Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Poetry Month, National Humor Month, Keep America Beautiful Month ...

All of those are wonderful, but in addition to those, at the Henryetta Public Library, April is... LIBRARY AMNESTY MONTH! (LAM) We'd want all of our LONG overdue books returned and we're willing to lose library fines to get them back! Don't be "on the lam" any longer, get your books back, get hour name cleared!!

If anyone returns an overdue book (no matter how long it's overdue) in April, a fine will not be charged!! You can't get a better deal than that! Tell all your friends or anyone else you know that might have an overdue book. In May, we may start turning names and book titles over to the Police. They've retrieved books before and may help us do so again.
